Ban the circus

HOW many beatings does a poor elephant have to take before the Government introduces a ban on animals in circuses?

Footage filmed by Animal Defenders should make us think, especially about an elephant which has been in the circus for 50 years and is not in good health.

I do not believe we should have animals in the circus, and it’s time the Government got its act together and we had a total ban.

This has been going on for too long. These poor animals do not deserve to be treated this way.

If you care, write to your MP and ask them to support the ban, and let’s hope these people who inflict pain and suffering to these animals get what they deserve.

You want the same government that is authorising the killing of human beings in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya to prioritise the banning of animals from circuses because it's "cruel"? Only in the UK would you get such bizarre juxtapositions.
