Shocking footage of “humane” animal slaughter

THE campaign group Animal Aid has filmed undercover in UK slaughterhouses and found cruelty and law breaking on a massive scale.

This shocking footage of “humane” slaughter will leave you horrified at the brutality terrified animals endure.

It shows a sow in agony from the electric shock that failed to stun her; it shows a sheep being decapitated while alive. These are just two examples.

Animal Aid is asking supermarkets to ensure all their meat suppliers install CCTV cameras which will help prevent some shocking illegal cruelty.

Your readers can help by phoning Animal Aid on 01732 364546, requesting postcards addressed to the supermarket chains that have not yet agreed to insisting on CCTV.

The good news is that Morrisons and Marks&Spencer have agreed.
