WITH regard to the letter (The Press, July 29), replying to comments about not being able to get an ambulance for the boy with broken wrists, as chairman of the York Private Hire Association I can say that all the private hire cars in the city – and I would assume Hackneys too – would take a job of this nature.
All of us have taken customers with broken legs, arms or any broken bones over many years.
