By Reader's letter
I have yet to visit the new library so cannot yet give any informed opinion on it.
However, Sonja Crisp’s letter (Between the lines, June 4) does give rise to one or two areas of concern, namely noise and books and computers being used in a busy area where drinks and food are being consumed.
A good chance of an accident due to spillage, it seems to me.
One other thing; Sonja claims to be an avid reader. Her reading obviously has not improved her grammar – “children with parents and grandparents were sat” (sic) she writes. Sonja, it should be “were sitting” or you could have used the preterite “sat” -the “were” is redundant if you do so.
