In recent days, at 8:30am, where the A64 bypass crosses over the York-Selby road, I’ve noticed more and more drivers using the roundabout on the Fulford side as a way to jump the queue into York, thereby blocking folk like me leaving town to turn towards Leeds.
Aside from adding an air of symmetry to the signs along the A19 by the Designer Outlet on the one hand, and rewarding impatience on the other, is there a valid traffic reason for having two roundabouts at that junction?
