AS A resident of Nunmill Street, I am pleased someone is at last doing something about traffic issues on our local streets.
I am fed up with speeding motorists using the streets that link Bishopthorpe Road and Scarcroft Road.
Our streets are narrow, with residential parking on both sides, and to see car and van users driving down Nunmill Street in excess of 40mph is very distressing.
As a father with daughters, I am very concerned for their safety when I watch some of the lunatics on our streets.
