Behaviour of Pakistan cricket team

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has acted superbly well in banning former national captains M Yousuf and Younis Khan from ever playing international cricket again, and banning Rana Naved for 12 months and for fining Shahid Alfridi for ball tampering, and for fining the Akmal brothers for breach of discipline.

Their behaviour during the team’s Australian tour was atrocious, and this tough action by the PCB should act as a stern warning to others. How I wish other sports governing bodies would have the courage to act in a similar fashion to the PCB. Well done, Pakistan.

David Quarrie, Lynden Way, Holgate, York.
