Euro-MP responds

Poor old Dave Taylor (Shooting from lip, Letters, February 2). You would have thought with that haircut he would have had a sense of humour.

Godfrey Bloom, UKIP MEP for Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, Main Street, Wressle, Selby.

There we go folks, British politics in one easy lesson. Said something in public you shouldn't? Finding it hard to understand how to behave correctly as an elected official?
.
Don't waste your effort on any apology or retraction, on the other hand don't attempt to justify yourself. Don't mess around with all that civilised politic-ky stuff.
.
Oh no, far easier to just fire off a glib personal insult mocking someone's haircut.
.
House of Commons, 1963:
John Profumo: "I can assure the House that there was no impropriety whatsoever and furthermore, the right honourable gentleman is a proper minger and no mistake"

You have to give as good as you can take.
The British Council spend £3.5m on propaganda targeted at young people to demonstrate against so called global warming, this includes paying for many of them to go to Co2penhagen last December to protest on behalf of the UK Government. On top of that, the Met Office spend over £100m per year on climate models, more propaganda, duff forecasts such as the BBQ summer and mild winter etc. If that is not enough, another £10m of your hard earned is spent on TV advertising propaganda which includes frightening small children with nightmare bedtime stories. This is your hard earned taxes spent for you.
Do you have any idea for what any of this so called green tax has been spent on?
And my point is that Mr Bloom stands up against this, one of the biggest scams in history.
Mr Taylor on the other hand, along with most others in local and national politics are actually a part of the con, which we the tax payers will have to pay for, not to mention the enquiry that will no doubt follow!

Anyone else think Bloom has come across as the idiot here. After all when you can't resort to logic and reason to win your argument but you have that competitive streak to win at all costs it only leaves insults?
Geoffrey Bloom you're a disgrace and if you want to take a shot at my hair try, it's far more fashionable then yours.

Silver, you have got a very narrow focus on this whole issue. Do you think that calling people flat earthers, holocaust deniers and such like is any different? (Add idiot to the list of insults)
And if you want to talk about logic and reason then where is the proof that the plant food Co2 causes Global Warming or in fact without manipulated data that any warming over the last 100 years has actually occurred at all.
This is why a hysterical likened issue was made of nothing by a Greenie in the first place, and at least the hair comment got your hair off for sure.
Thank goodness at least one local politician has got a brain, not towed by the party line, is making a stand against this rip off!

Cold_as_christmas there there. Never mind. Its gonna be ok. Don't worry about it. Just pop to the drawer where the tablets are kept, and throw a couple down your neck. More importantly, remember to keep taking them every day as its the cumulative effect of a regular and frequent dose that works most effectively against a psychosis like yours.
.
Neither of your posts on this page have anything whatsoever to do with the letter or the background story (ah yes but then I'm not seeing the bigger picture/ reading between the lines/ just plain making stuff up!) yet you write at length and with exasperation. You're poorly.
.
Could I also point out that the expression is TOE the line, as in stand where you are supposed to, put your toe to the line. For "the line" to suddenly break free from its passive status and start "towing" anyone around is either a product of a malfunctioning brain, or, more tellingly, shows a rank inability to understand, which frankly is a theme of your posts.
.
Until your illness improves it would probably be best for all concerned if you held back from posting here.

Now who's being picky!
If you can make a prognosis of mental illness from a few comments; then one must assume you are surrounded by nut jobs in the course of your daily routine, hence your off topic rant.
Get well soon and I look forward to a more engaging reply on the usual subject. I wouldn't dream of suggesting you didn't post. That would be rather like saying 'the time for debate is over.'
