Reader's letter
I cannot believe what is happening to that great meeting point in York.
Of course I am referring to the fountain in Parliament Street which appears to be in the process of being demolished.
Such lack of vision should not go unchallenged.
York council should hold their head in shame at such a venture.
The fountain was a welcoming oasis to people drawn to that focal point in York, which sadly will soon be no more.
