YORK and Yorkshire aren’t short of great local breweries. But when it comes to craft beers, often small is beautiful.
That certainly seems to be the case with Brew York. Opened by Wayne Smith and Lee Crabham less than two years ago, the craft brewery off Walmgate is already planning to triple production: testament to the quality of its beers.
The brewery hopes to move into the former York Boxing Club building next door - but which was originally a maltings. How appropriate.
Brew York will be taking on 11 extra staff. And of course it will be making more beer. Both cause for celebration. Cheers, guys...
