IT’S understandable that Diane Abbott is upset about the amount of verbal abuse she has received.
What she needs to accept is that the present day ugliness in politics escalated rapidly with the election of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader.
The awful scenes of physical and verbal abuse outside Conservative conferences. The threat of strikes and riots whenever things don’t go their way.
The rhetoric of Corbyn’s puppet master John McDonnell.
All the above and more, while Jeremy Corbyn stands in the background and says nothing.
Fortunately, I have never been taken in by the portrayal of the nice, kind guy that Jeremy Corbyn would have us believe.
Everything in Corbyn’s world is about him, certainly not about this country.
Thank goodness Theresa May has the dignity expected of a leader.
