MEMBERS of Parliament reconvened on September 5 having had a six week holiday - nice for some.
They break again on September 16 until October 9 to enjoy the jollies of party conferences - nicer still.
When finally at work in mid-October one wonders how they manage to pass the time apart from obeying the needs of the whips’ office.
Fret they should not, come Christmas another three week holiday awaits. Beyond that, Easter is on the horizon.
Thomas Cook, Thomsons, Jet2 etc await a surge of interest from 650 Members of Parliament from February onwards.
