York is trialling an electric double decker bus
THE news about another electric bus can only be good news for air quality in the city (The Press, August 15).
Does this mean that an older bus will be displaced from the Park & Ride service?
If it does can we have it on the number 11 service to replace one of our regular 17-year-old vehicles with seats as well padded as the Army three-ton Bedfords I rode in 50 years ago?
I don’t think anything used on the Park & Ride will be anywhere near as uncomfortable as our regular buses.
