I’M sure all Press readers - including me - are sick of seeing letters about the state of our city streets and pavements.
We live in a lovely city spoiled by the lack of maintenance, empty shops and litter.
My husband and I go into the town every week and one day recently it was a disgrace.
Parliament Street was like a lake, and Goodramgate, Davygate and High Ousegate are dangerous.
If we were visiting York for the first time, we wouldn’t be back.
So come on York council, spend some of our money for our benefit.
Don’t get me started on the position of the market.
