DEMOCRACY allows people to have differing views and a referendum should not deny anyone the right to debate the issues.
Unlike an election when you do get the chance to change your mind, Brexiteers think a referendum is the end of the argument.
Well, in a democracy, those of us who voted to remain will continue to put the alternative view and watch with fear and trepidation the mess this government makes of the exit negotiations.
In my late 70s, I hope we have not done lasting damage to the future of our grandchildren.
