“GARDENING keeps us fit and healthy” claims Maureen Robinson in her letter (The Press, July 24).
I’ve just been out in my garden and shredded my hands picking gooseberries, got a bad shoulder through pulling up weeds, hurt my leg when I slipped on a slug, bruised an elbow when I tripped over the wheelbarrow and sprained my back lifting a heavy motor mower.
Maureen, I beg to differ!
