LINDA WALKER’S letter (The Press, June 21) brings to mind the old adage “listen at the kettle calling the pot grimy”.

Everyone is getting onto poor Theresa May. That poor lady was forced to call an election and was too nice to say no.

She should have been strong but, out of sheer Tory arrogance, she thought it was an easy touch with Jeremy Corbyn a dead man walking.

She made U-turn after U-turn resorting to a barrage of infantile name-calling of Corbyn, not answering anyone’s questions.

The public saw through this pathetic leadership and Tories flocked to Labour. If you don’t believe me, just look at Tory slashed majorities.

Only last week’s questions in the House saw May squirm having to apologise for the lack of action from the Tories and the richest borough council in the land over the totally avoidable tower block tragedy.

As for this nasty Corbyn, he recently showed more compassion in his little finger than the entire Tory party and Tory council. He was there comforting as many as he could. Where were the Tories?

Now with the marriage with the DUP in doubt, sorry Linda but your idol better brace herself for some real “bashing”.

The Tories are a dead party walking, with no policies and empty played out rhetoric. A busted flush.
