A PARAGRAPH in Robert Greaves’ letter (The Press, June 17) really hit home to me.
There are many of us proud and mature people who do not want a lingering death.
The end of life decision should be ours as it is our life.
We do not want to lose the love and respect we have earned during our lifetime.
The End Of Life Decision (EOLD) is as it should be known and be respected.
Paragraph: “The thing that scares me most more than dying is going into a care home or spending the rest of my days on my back on a life support system.”
Good on you, Robert Greaves.
