WHY is Jeremy Corbyn being feted as if he has done something good? He hasn’t. He lost the election. The third in a row for Labour.

In spite of the fact that he promised money in the billions and Theresa May planned to take money from pensioners, she still got over 50 more seats than Corbyn did and the popular vote.

He only got more votes than forecast because of the Conservative manifesto. Not because of a rise in his popularity.

Is that not a more accurate analysis of the outcome?

Corbyn is a protester not a leader. It is his forte to stand shouting in public. It’s what he has always done. He had nothing to lose.

With all the money he was promising he would have ruined the country as he ruined the Labour Party.

He has changed his mind many times on so many matters. On the monarchy, immigration, Trident, terrorism and policing. Whatever makes him popular at the time, and mainly in Labour strongholds.

Theresa May is not comfortable with public confrontation. She is a leader not a protester. She did not have a good campaign. She was ill- advised and uncomfortable in public debate.

Theresa May is a good leader. The Conservatives must get behind her and support her.

Jeremy Corbyn must never be allowed to run this country.
