ONCE again Labour are going to make empty promises with money they do not have.

The Conservatives inherited a huge deficit from Labour, yet people seem to have short memories and so does the Labour campaign led by Jeremy Corbyn.

Are we led to believe that they can conjure up all this money for the NHS and now Mr Corbyn is promising to abolish university fees.

Where is all the money coming from? Borrowing on a huge scale again for someone else to put right.

The Conservatives come under fire for what they have been trying to do this last seven years: clear Labour’s mess, a huge deficit. Yes the Conservatives have borrowed but what else can they do?

Our population has increased yet probably not enough money goes into the pot because we do not have enough people paying tax, National Insurance etc.

Please do not blame a population of pensioners living longer. We have paid our dues and understand the situation better than the younger generation.
