WE are writing to say a huge thanks to the amazing people who are cycling for Age UK York in the Tour de Yorkshire Human Cycle Race in Sheffield tomorrow.
The people cycling on our behalf are Peter Robinson, Mat Breslin, Katherine Lancey, Simon Harrison, Lee Brown, my husband Barry and son Oli.
My husband Barry had a massive heart attacked back in 2012 and is demonstrating you can come back to life and do amazing things.
Barry will be cycling the longest route of more than 100km.
If you wish to sponsor any of our riders or donate you can do so by visiting www.justgiving.com/ ageukyork.
Also don’t forget the Keep Your Pet dog walk on Knavesmire tomorrow, with a 10.15am start for those with dogs to walk.
It’s busy, busy, busy this weekend so let’s hope the weather is good.
Sally Hutchinson, Chief officer, Age UK York
