THE Tour de Yorkshire begins tomorrow, with a 107-mile leg that starts at Bridlington, crosses the Yorkshire Wolds, heads up to the North York Moors and concludes with a sprint along the coast from Whitby to Scarborough. Along the way, it will include a challenging climb up Garrowby Hill.
This is a fantastic event - and a great advert for Yorkshire.
The race won’t be coming to York this year. But there will be opportunities aplenty over the three days of the event for local fans to get out and watch the racing. Enjoy!
