I RECENTLY wrote to The Press, berating the brevity of some of the letters.

Today, I am about to open myself up to accusations of the same “crime”.

This General Election is about several major changes of policy, some of which are clothed in a Brexit cloak of invisibility and some of which are not.

I will mention the three which I believe are the greatest threats to our nation and more importantly what it really does mean to be British.

This “triple echo” is, I believe, the end of the NHS, dangerous “goods dumping” via desperate trade deals with the USA, and arguably the shot which will inflict the most damage, the end of the individual protection afforded by EU laws.

If you really want Britain to retain those silent and unsung properties that truly make this a country unique and special, carefully consider which of them you are prepared to ditch in exchange for a blue passport and the new found freedom to do what exactly?

Forget Brexit on polling day, vote with your conscience and make sure your X doesn’t mean anonymous, because a huge Tory majority means only one thing, and this time it’s personal.
