TWO seats in the upcoming North Yorkshire County Council election are uncontested, meaning the sitting Tory councillors will be re-elected unopposed (The Press, April 15).
I thought the opposition was supposed to do just that - oppose.
What a defeatist lot those non-Tories in Stillington and Thirsk are.
