DECIDING on planning permission for projects in the centre of York must be an uneasy task for both the planning department and city councillors, as shown by the Piccadilly predicament (The Press, March 18).
My advice, if I was one of the decision makers, would be as a starting point, would I want this building on the front lawn at Station Rise?
