NEW YORK has its own fashion week – and now York is poised to have its own.
Fashion City York has announced it will be launching seven days of events in 2018 with its inaugural fashion week.
This has been a long-term aim of the annual style festival that seeks to promote York city centre as a shopping destination, appealing to residents and tourists alike.
This year’s event, which starts on April 4, will be the biggest yet and much of that success rests on a £15,000 grant from York BID. The remainder is thanks to local businesses pulling together to stage a festival of fashion that promises to be lots of fun.
