SOMETIMES a photo really is worth a thousand words.
That is certainly the case with our photograph today showing the Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu with the Imam of York Mosque, Abid Salik.
It speaks volumes about the importance of understanding, tolerance and friendship.
As the Archbishop said ahead of his visit: “We each have a responsibility to foster better community relations and improve our sense of what it means to be a good neighbour.”
Precisely. Events such as this go a long way to making us all remember that.
