I HAVE just returned from my usual Monday shop at Clifton Moor and for the second week running there were no disabled parking bays free.

Last week four spaces were taken by white vans. This week there were five white vans, one black van, one moped and one bag of sand in these spaces as they were working on site. I didn’t ask for the site supervisor as I suffer with angina.

I was struggling wheeling a trolley containing cat litter.

I am sure I am not the only disgruntled disabled driver while the building work is going on.
