HAVING received a letter, albeit first class postage, from a relative living in Truro, Cornwall, I must give credit where credit is due to Royal Mail.
The letter was stamped Royal Mail Plymouth and Cornwall, 08-02-17 at 7.15pm. I received said letter in my post box 09-02-17 at noon, and not for the first time.
When one considers that a phone call or delivery by a racing pigeon may be curtailed for various reasons, I will continue to use this form of communication.
Are we to expect when the HS2 rail route to the north is in place that further deliveries will arrive as the speed of light and/or sound? Now that is what I call progress.
