I AM writing as a customer of the Crichton Avenue post office.
Is it not about time that the people in power thought about all the ordinary people who depend on their local post office on a daily basis, not only pension-wise but for other business?
There are a lot of people in the area who cannot travel on public transport, of which I am one.
They have to get a taxi into town at the cost of £5.60 each way, a total of £11.20 coming out of their pensions, which in some cases can mean cutting down on heating, food costs etc.
Come on people in power, think of the ordinary people and put the post office back into operation for the senior citizens.
