THE cost of fitting cameras to bin lorries to detect early pot holes will make no difference whatsoever and be another waste of money.
The council can’t even repair the ones they know about so how can they repair the new ones, unless they go to the top of the list?
In Holgate and Hollybank, we don’t have potholes, we have craters, easy to see with the naked eye. You don’t need cameras.
The next time we see any representatives from the council walking round will be the first.
Because of the poor construction of the roads, bin lorries and other heavy traffic cause most of the damage to the roads, kerbs and grass verges.
