AS A lifelong supporter and a season ticket holder (from 1935), I would like to thank John Guildford for his fine work in keeping York RL afloat.
It is a thankless task also undertaken by John Stabler in the past.
Hopefully, we shall see other fine York players such as Charlie Taylor, “Stiffleg” Knowles, Baz Watts, Edgar Dawson, Dobson, Steadman, Smith, Crossley et al.
