FIRST it was “Brexit means Brexit”, now the Prime Minster is telling us that she wants a “Red, White and Blue Brexit”.

Perhaps the next slogan will be “The Full English Brexit”.

All these slogans do is try to hide the fact that the Government has got no plan and no idea of what Brexit means for our country.

This is leaving the extremists from the far right of politics to make all of the running.

The majority of people in York, who voted to remain part of the EU, are being left completely voiceless in the process.

Perhaps because we are being represented by an MP who desperately wants to drag us out of Europe against the wishes of the people he was elected to represent.

Meanwhile, many of those local people who did vote to leave tell me that they never voted in favour of cutting the trade ties many jobs depend on, and are horrified by the increase in the number of hate-based crimes the police are reporting.

Many of them do want to know what happened to the infamous £350 million a week for the NHS, especially after the NHS didn’t get a single mention in the budget.

Having an unelected Prime Minister blinding steering our country into a disaster is proving to be no way to “Take Back Control”.
