MANY letters have been written in The Press on the providing of a visitor centre at Clifford’s Tower.
At the moment the mound supporting this iconic monument looks very sad due to silly people who use it to slide down - despite notices to keep off the grass.
Many of these people even leave the cardboard etc after they have finished their ruination of the mound.
What must our visitors who travel some great distances to see this great building think?
I hope something can be done to preserve the mound.
