DO many other readers think that the plans for Clifford’s Tower are fantastic? I do.
The new visitor centre reminds me of an ancient Greek or Roman structure and not at all like a toilet. It’s not horrid as people claim. Queueing on the steps to enter is dangerous and I feel sorry for the ticket seller in their tiny wooden cubicle.
Is it acceptable that in 2016 there aren’t toilets for visitors or staff?
The tower may afford great views but it’s falling apart and the floor is disintegrating.
It is said that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but Clifford’s Tower is badly broken and if nothing is done I’m sure it won’t be here for much longer.
