THE SNP have a manifesto mandate to call for another independence referendum when the UK leaves the EU.

This is quite right for democracy.

They say they would use the Great Britain pound as their currency. This presumption must be challenged.

If they vote to leave the UK to be independent, their choice of currency would only be either the euro, the Scottish pound, or any other name they want to call it.

They would not be allowed to still hang on to the rest of the UK’s currency regardless of the strong probability that their independent economy would drag the rest of the UK down.
