JACKIE McNAMARA’S performance during a cataclysmic 11 months must have tested the incredible patience of his employers, and his recent public pronouncements blaming everyone but himself have been laughable.

John Ward, Billy McEwan and Gary Mills were successful, whereas Chris Brass, Colin Walker and Russ Wilcox were less so, but all conducted themselves with dignity throughout what must, at times, be a tough job with limited resources available.
