MANY people just sign their name when writing to The Press, a few give themselves a title.

As one of the “moaners” that Chris Myles, director, writes about (Letters, September 10), I would like to point out that one of the first things that employees of Clifford’s Tower are taught is how to deal with visitors who complain that the entry fee is exorbitant.

They are told to tell the “moaners” that part of the money goes towards the upkeep of ancient buildings throughout the country.

They are not told it is to build the new monstrosity that the “director” likes so much.
