IS it just me or are their others who are fed up with strikes and protests?
Years ago, we had huge miners’ strikes which cost the country a great deal of money and gained nothing.
In the last year we have had junior doctor protests, parents keeping children away from school owing to stressful exams, and now protesters gathering outside County Hall in Northallerton against fracking.
Have we suddenly become a nation of protestors who will not accept anything that doesn’t suit us?
I bet the thousands of migrants enduring dreadful conditions would love to join us, or change places with us, if given the chance.
So how about doing what many of us had to do many moons ago and get on with it, enjoying our wonderful country, and thanking God for the freedom we all enjoy.
