THIRSK and Malton MP Kevin Hollinrake’s urging of young people to vote in the EU Referendum (Letters, June 20) is commendable.
What a pity, however, that it didn’t extend to his vote on the EU Referendum Bill, on December 8, 2015, when he voted against extending the franchise for the referendum, to 16 and 17 year olds.
