IT has been an interesting week in the build up to the referendum.

One woman working for an agency in Paris is worried about health costs.

If she returned to England it would lead to her claiming benefits. She chose to live over there and have children born and educated there, but wants us to secure benefits for her.

I didn’t realise we all worked and paid our taxes to provide back up to those who left for horizons new.

Another who wouldn’t be able to afford fees for a Berlin university. Sorry but there are many people who cannot afford to go to our own universities.

On the basis of these cases, remain is a vote to protect those who choose to move out for purely selfish reasons. Now there are threats of an emergency budget before the ink has dried on the exit papers.

David Cameron couldn’t come out with a decent deal when he had the bargaining tool of a referendum and yet seems to think he could get better if we stay.

We see the cosying up of a strange set of bedfellows, Tories and ex-Labour leaders. It would appear the only person you can trust is yourself.
