The plethora of A-boards is a hazard WITH reference to the letter regarding A-boards and City of York Council’s policy (The Press, May 16), showing ten boards in 75 yards of pavement.

Three years ago I went round the area with Diane Roworth, from York Blind and Partially Sighted Society, and it has not improved at all.

It is very hard to manage York’s city centre when your eyesight is affected.

Please help people to enjoy York without A-boards.

Shops can always hang a sign above their doors like they did in the old days.
