PRESIDENT Obama's support for the Remain campaign has caused much outrage amongst Brexit supporters, but they keep very quiet about the one world leader who would welcome Brexit - Vladimir Putin.
Putin is a Russian nationalist who has shown scant regard for international law by annexing the Crimean peninsula and supporting Russian militants in Eastern Ukraine.
He would very much like to take back the Baltic states into Russian control, which are EU and NATO members.
This would, of course, oblige the UK as a NATO member to defend them irrespective as to whether we are in the EU or not.
Were we foolish enough to vote Out on June 23, this would send a signal to Putin that Europe is divided and weak.
This would embolden him in his foreign policy and threaten our security.
As a NATO member, our only reply is the military one, which carries enormous risks.
As an EU member, we can use EU sanctions to keep Russian expansionism firmly in its box.
It is no surprise that so many ex-military heads are supporting the Remain camp. We should listen to them.
