Stonegate in York
FIRSTLY can I congratulate the highways department at City of York Council on the new road layout and lights at Green Lane in Clifton.
What a joy it is to not sit in queues of traffic any more. We should have had lights years ago.
Secondly can whoever gave permission for the implementation of asphalt on one of our most famous streets in Stonegate give your head a shake.
It looks hideous. What an embarrassment, just as the summer tourists arrive.
