IN THE debate on Europe, ie whether to leave or stay, we should be mindful of the security afforded to us as members of the European Alliance.
Whatever the pros and cons of Brexit or remaining in the EU and Brexin, we need to remember that over the years since the end of the Second World War we have seen a significant decline in our military, sea and air capability.
This a potent and undeniable factor in our present and even future performance in appropriately dealing with possible hostilities and even predatory attack.
In my book unity is strength.
