SOON we go to polls to decide on whether or not we want to stay in Europe and I would like options to vote for on the future of Stonebow House, like when the council moved into the West Offices.

I do not like the building and my reason are as follows:

* The building is and will always be too big in its current format. It does not fit into a medieval street. Part of this due to the tower and blocks out buildings. It is not a case of simply recladding the building.

* It is not listed. All other buildings that have been built, such as Hiscox and Pryers, recently have thankfully learned this and used glass and sandstone which is less harsh in their developments.

Whatever is decided anything is an improvement we can see what can be done with the improvement of the White Swan and Holgate Villas.
