IT’S quickly approaching the date of voting for the Police and Crime Commissioner and still we, the ones they are wanting to cast the votes, have not received any information about or from them either by way of leafleting or personal door-knocking to let us know why we should vote for them.
How on earth are we supposed to cast an informed vote, and will many people bother, anyway?
We were under the impression the police should be impartial. Why, then, are the candidates identified by the political party to which they belong?
