ONCE again Heather Causnett comes up with a plan for us all to lose weight (Letters, January 29).
Supermarkets should sell less in packages of food so we eat less. How do you feed four people, buy two packages?
I shop locally. If I want eight sausages, the butcher counts and weighs them.
Fresh vegetables can be bought loose and counted, saving waste.
Wake up Heather. Chocolate bars and the tins of sweets have got smaller, but the prices remain the same.
The only way to reduce weight is to eat sensibly, not expect supermarkets to control our eating or buying habits.
