SOME contributors have asked for reasons to stay in the EU. 200 words is too few but here is one thing to think about.

Today many millions of British passport holders live, are educated, work or are retired in EU countries and many like my Year 11 daughter want to follow.

As members of an EU country they have access to education, health (E11 system) and unemployment benefits when unfortunate circumstances arise.

If the UK was to leave the EU many of these people, and their families, who have made their homes and lives would be forced to return to the UK.

Voting to leave would stop our aspirational young people from having an opportunity – and without the need to meet some highly qualified quota; my daughter for example wants to work in the travel industry.

Did readers know many British passport holders, in the EU, won’t be able to vote in the referendum - their fate decided by others; or under 18 year olds.

As my 15 year old daughter says, why should a bunch of bitter old men in suits ruin her future just because they don’t like foreign people?

And, yes, I fully support EU membership.
