WITH reference to the construction of the new Community Stadium for York City and York City Knights, what is going on?

Delay after delay, after delay. Frustration is building, when you see around the country other councils and lower league clubs have managed to build stadiums without this saga.

At this rate, Jason McGill will be in a nursing home sat in his rocking chair pondering the false promises and I will be in the next chair reading York City programmes.

There is something about City of York Council over the years, putting the citizens of York last.

A good example is a lack of will and planning. Decent sized cities and towns have a central bus station, but not in York.

When any of the teams achieve cup wins/promotions, a civic reception is given.

When sporting help is needed, little is given back.
